2. Interpretation clause

2. Interpretation clause.— In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,—

(1)

"Government" or "the Government" means, in relation to a State, the State Government and, in relation to a Union territory, the Central Government.

"prescribed" means prescribed by rules under this Act.
